What We Do

Precision 3D Models
from Your 2D Drawings

Whether you have engineering drawings, hand sketches, 2D CAD files, or a physical part that needs to be digitised — we build accurate, fully parametric 3D CAD models that are ready to use in your workflow.

“Every 3D model we create is built with manufacturing in mind — correct geometry, proper constraints, and the dimensional accuracy your engineering team requires.”

Our 3D modeling work covers individual mechanical components, multi-part assemblies, complex curved geometry, and detailed parts with tight tolerances. We work from whatever source material you have and deliver models in the format your software requires.

The same care and accuracy that goes into our 2D CAD conversion work applies here — every model is built manually by a trained CAD engineer, checked against your source drawings, and delivered ready to use.

Every 3D Model Includes

Standard on every job — not an add-on

Dimensionally accurate geometry — modeled precisely to your drawing dimensions
Parametric or solid modeling — depending on your software requirements
Assembly constraints applied — for multi-part assembly models
In-process + final QC — checked against source drawings before delivery
Your preferred output format — STEP, IGES, STL, native CAD files
Free sample on first project — send us a drawing and we model a part at no cost

Scope of Work

What We Model

From simple individual parts to complex multi-component assemblies across all engineering disciplines.

01

Mechanical Parts & Components

Shafts, housings, brackets, flanges, couplings, and any precision machined component — modeled to your dimensional specifications.

02

Multi-Part Assemblies

Complete assemblies with correct part relationships, constraints, and mating conditions applied throughout.

03

Sheet Metal & Fabrication

3D models of sheet metal parts, weldments, structural steel, and fabricated components from flat pattern or formed drawings.

04

Exploded Assembly Views

Exploded 3D assemblies for technical documentation, manuals, spare parts catalogues, and training materials.

05

Complex Curved Geometry

Organic shapes, lofted surfaces, swept profiles, and complex curved geometry that cannot be defined by simple extrusions.

06

Reverse Engineering

Physical parts measured and modeled into accurate 3D CAD from caliper measurements, sketches, or photographs.

07

STL & 3D Print Preparation

3D models prepared and optimised for 3D printing — watertight geometry, correct orientation, and print-ready STL files.

08

Piping & Fittings

Pipe spools, fittings, valves, and associated components modeled for piping system design and P&ID integration.

Source Material

We Work From Whatever You Have

You do not need to have everything perfectly prepared. We work from the source material that exists.

✓ Source Formats We Accept

Send us whatever you have

2D CAD drawings (DWG, DXF) — any version
PDF engineering drawings — vector or scanned
Scanned paper drawings or hand sketches
Physical parts with measurements or caliper data
Photographs with dimensional reference
Existing 3D models in any format (for modification)
STEP, IGES, STL, Parasolid, or native CAD files

✓ Output Formats We Deliver

In the format your software requires

STEP (.stp / .step) — universal, all major CAD software
IGES (.igs) — cross-platform surface and solid exchange
STL — 3D printing and rapid prototyping
AutoCAD 3D DWG / DXF
SolidWorks (.sldprt / .sldasm)
Parasolid (.x_t / .x_b)
Native format on request — specify your software

At minimum we need your 2D engineering drawings or sketches showing all views, dimensions, and tolerances. The more complete the drawing package, the faster and more accurate the model. If you have an existing 2D CAD file (DWG/DXF) that is ideal. For reverse engineering from physical parts, we need all critical dimensions.
Our 2D CAD conversion service takes your drawings and produces accurate 2D DWG/DXF files. Our 3D modeling service takes your 2D drawings or sketches and creates a full three-dimensional solid or surface model — suitable for manufacturing, 3D printing, simulation, or further design development.
Yes, provided the sketch includes all necessary dimensions and views. A dimensioned sketch with front, side, and top views is sufficient for most parts. If critical dimensions are missing we will flag them before starting.
We model in professional CAD software and always deliver in STEP format as standard — which opens in virtually any CAD software including SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD, Fusion 360, Inventor, and all others. We can also deliver in native formats on request.
Yes. We model assemblies with correct mating conditions and constraints applied so parts move and relate as they should. For animations or motion simulation, let us know your requirements when you enquire.
Our models are built precisely to the dimensions shown in your drawings. We apply the same dimensional accuracy standard we use for our 2D CAD conversion work — every critical dimension is verified against the source before delivery.
Every project is custom-quoted based on part complexity, number of parts, and the completeness of source material. Simple parts take less time than complex assemblies with many features. Send us your drawings and we will quote within 24 hours.
